Bart D’angelo is a freelance illustrator based in Palermo during warm seasons, and around Europe in colder times. After completing his training as a visual maker at Falmouth University, he worked with creatives from America and Europe crafting illustrations for books, comics, animations, designs and magazines. Bart is in love with film decò and architecture, merging nuanced atmospheres with theatrical spaces.

Although soon trained as a designer, printmaker and scenographer throughout Italy and England, he grew intensely into illustration and storytelling, until 2018, when he was first addressed as “Illustrator” during an exhibition in Cornwall.

Alongside his personal graphics, he has been published on a variety of traditional and experimental platforms, in the shape of commissioned editorial, narrative, cover and sequential illustrations - both in commercial and independent publishing.
